I'm not anywhere near finished with getting the house in order, but I took a break yesterday to work on some art. I spend about 4 hours painting papers and getting my hands (and clothes) dirty.
The previous home owners left behind a large drafting pad that I've been dying to use for painting experiments and journal papers. I usually work with 9x13 in. drawing paper for my painted papers so it was liberating and quite a lot of fun to work on such a large scale. And efficient, too. In just a few hours I managed to put out a ton of new papers.
Words to live by:
Never forget: This very moment, we can change our lives. There never was a moment, and never will be, when we are without the power to alter our destiny. This second, we can turn the tables on Resistance.
This second, we can sit down and do our work.
--Steven Pressfield, The War of Art
What are you waiting for? Go do it.
Then come back and tell me about it.

Wonderful pages!

oh, so lovely! I LOVE your painted pages. You are what inspired me to try and do my own, but they don't quite compare to yours :)

Love the new papers. What a nice find. A BIG easel pad! Glad that you had some time to escape into your creativity! :)

I like your painted paper. I am going to try them on ordinary white paper I bought from the Staples.
Thanks for sharing the ideas
