Among other things, I'm working on some new art journals which will eventually go into my Etsy shop. The good news for you is that one of them turned out slightly less than perfect and I really don't feel comfortable selling it that way so I thought why not give it away to one of my excellent blog readers?
Here are the specs: the journal is approx. inches with a handmade cover and binding. There are around 40 "blank" pages that include my hand stamped and painted papers, envelopes, found papers, wall paper samples, photographs and more. All of them are ready for you to add your own journaling, doodles, day dreaming, list making, photography or whatever else strikes your fancy. You won't have to worry about facing the dreaded blank page because each paper contains inspiration of its own to use as a jumping off point. But then again, why not paint over the whole page and start from scratch--it's your journal! (Oh, as for the imperfection, the spine scooted a little on me while I was stitching so the last few pages have an extra crease in them where I was off about half an inch.)
What you need to do: leave a comment on this post and I will enter your name in the drawing with the winner to be announced, um, how about Friday, November 21st? If you want to double your chances of winning plus guarantee some extra goodies in the mail when you win (eeek!!) just mention this giveaway on your own blog or website including a link back to this post and I'll enter your name twice!! What fun! Got that? Leave a comment here and make sure you let me know if you spread the news of the giveaway on your own site so I can check it out and add your name twice--no cheating! It's easy peasy.
Ooh this is a fine give-away ! I love, love, love this journal !
First comment here ! Off to my blog to post about you !
Thanks for the chance (chances ?) to win !
Happy Hump Day !

hi debra,
I've been reading for a little bit (I got referred to your dyed paper tutorial, which I use constantly because I dye fabric and sometimes I use paper towels to clean up the dye since it will stain anything else)---I LOVE THIS JOURNAL! it is awesome. I'm trying to make my own out of an old book (your site is an inspiration of course), but I love all of your stamping. so comment comment (but I don't have a blog so this will be my only point aah!)

I love this journal. I just found your blog through Kim Mailhot's site and have bookmarked it. Does that count as a double entry for those of us without our own blog (yet)? I'm just trying to learn how to make my own journals and seeing the pictures has given me some great ideas.

From Rainy Seattle. I just found your self-portrait stencil instructions on the web from 2007. Very clearly written.
Count me in for your journal. Thanks for all the sharing.
